I cannot get over this show. I just cannot. I hope it keeps up it's momentum because I keep wanting more.
My mother was watching tonight's episode with me and she was of the opinion that it covered too much, but the pacing was intense.
I really must admit that I adore Eric. Not only is he played by a very pretty man but his kind of attitude just appeals to me. I like them badass. And it looks like when it comes to people he actually cares for in any way he tries to take care of them.
Sookie: "He's your maker right?"
Eric: "Don't use words you don't understand"
Sookie: "You have so much love for him"
Eric: "Don't use words I don't understand"
The sort of dry humor that comes through gets to me and makes me smile. Between this, his attempts at a southern draw while listening to his maker and not hurting people and his obedience to Godric, well I am just all over that.
And Godric, I like him more and more. I hope tonight's ending doesn't kill him. He seems to old to die, so hopefully not. But he is pretty and practical and he understands people and vampires very well. His characterization is excellent. He commands people without being truly imposing. It doesn't surprise me that the Church thought they could get him. Great lines: "I'm actually older than your Jesus. I wish I could have met him, but I missed it." He looks really small next to Eric.
Yeah, I ship that.
Jason Stackhouse, you are an idiot. And adorable, wonderful, nice idiot... but still an idiot. You win me over every time you defend your sister to people who you're afraid of at first. And you won me over with one simple line tonight. "I reckon I've already been to heaven. It was inside your wife" Between that and trying to talk to Godric and hugging Bill. Well, you're adorable.
Stay pretty.
And lastly I think. Maryann. You are suck a freak. If you needed a theme song I think it would be superfreak. You are the one that squicks me. With last weeks dead rabbit and this weeks cutting up a fresh heart. You are SO SO SO Gross. And according to the previews you're gonna get crazier next week. Here's hoping it's good. I am SO glad you're hateable. Because I don't think anybody likes you and it's prefect that way.
I feel so bad for Sam. Finding Daphne how he did. And I feel bad for everyone in jail looking lost and confused. And I worry for Lafayette and hope he's immune to MaryAnn's nonsense. He's certainly suspicious of it anyway.
Like last week, I will probably add some pictures in later.
